230 years ago, the Dores family were very well known as international traders.

After the French Revolution, they were awarded "the Medal of Confidence" for the quality and reliability of their products.

80 years later, the history of JANAT started when Mr. Janat Dores opened his restaurant in the heart of Provence in South of France in 1872.

Mr. Dores traveled all around the world and brought back to France; spices, tea and cocoa of best quality.

At that time, once he set out on a journey, he would not return home for weeks, but his two beautiful cats would wait for their master patiently and always welcomed him home at the door.

Mr. Dores loved his two cats who sensed his return without even a previous notice, and was strongly influenced by them.

They inspired him to new ideas for products and became his source of energy to create.

His passion to create unique and original products is now inherited by our staff as the spirit of the company, and in 2001, tea of JANAT brand was put on sale.

According to Mr. Dores;
